Discovery World Furniture Chemical Safety
Chemical safety is of utmost importance to KFS Stores. As such KFS Stores carries only products that meet or exceed all available chemical safety testing. All Discovery World Furniture Merlot, Honey, & Espresso Products are made entirely from solid pine with a dried nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The use of solid pine in their product lines eliminates the need for added chemicals in glues and binders.
The Discovery World Furniture White & Dollhouse collections are made of both solid pine and MDF components. The MDF utilized in the construction of these products is not the lower grade particleboard but rather a much more resilient and denser Medium Density Fiberboard that is considered a solid wood product and is produced to meet and exceed the safety standards for the California Phase II Carb compliance for Formaldehyde. For additional chemical safety KFS Stores is proud to inform you that all of Discovery World Furniture product finishes are also tested for lead to help ensure your childs bedroom is free of harmful chemicals.
Discover World Furniture case good drawer products are constructed of paulownia lumber sides, a Phase II Compliant sanded plywood bottom and a radiate pine drawer face. The Drawer Face finished with a nitrocellulose lacquer. The metal drawer glides are also chemical tested for lead to ensure your childs safety.
