The environment that that children work, play, learn, and grow in, is very important to their nature of their development over time. The presence of certain furnishings, decorations, and functional accessories can affect the natural use of the space. If the room has a giant television screen with lots of video games everywhere, then walking into the space will motivate them to play. Reduce this by hiding the screen behind cabinet doors, and instead using bookshelves to display tomes of knowledge which will entice your budding student at every turn.
